Marios Chalaris, M.Eng. Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, is the first Greek to represent the European Union as Youth Delegate for Energy & Environment at the 2025 G7 Youth Summit (Y7) in Ottawa. There, his proposals on nuclear energy, fusion R&D, the circular economy, and critical minerals were successfully adopted into the final G7 Youth Communiqué.

He is the President & Co-Founder of the Hellenic Young Generation in Nuclear (YGN), Director of Finance at Young European Leadership (YEL), Deputy Director of Fundraising for Y20 2026 in Washington, D.C., and Co-Founder & Director of K.I.S. Digital Agency, a newly established creative firm delivering marketing, branding, and digital solutions.

Professionally, Marios works at P&P Marine Consultants Inc. as a Marine Consultant & Shipbroker, where he specializes in shipbuilding projects, complex negotiation cases, vessel inspections, and claims management. He is also actively engaged in advancing shipping decarbonization and exploring the integration of nuclear technologies in maritime transport.

Passionate about nuclear innovation, the circular economy, and youth leadership, he collaborates with policymakers, universities, and international organizations to place Greece at the forefront of the global nuclear and energy dialogue.
